Following a 90-day sentence, Hollywood starlet Lohan excerpts a Cato Institute article on her Twitter page.

Lindsay Lohan is making news again, although this time her strange and unpredictable exploits even have legal scholars at one renowned Libertarian think-tank a bit perplexed.
After being sentenced to 90 days in jail following a probation violation, Lohan excerpted the first paragraph of a Cato Institute article critiquing the American criminal justice system she presently finds herself at the mercy of. In a note posted at the Cato website, Cato’s Criminal Justice Project director Tim Lynch commented, “I wish more celebrities would take an interest in our legal system because there is so much injustice to be found there.” Lynch noted that, as in the case with Lohan, celebrities often come across as self-serving when they speak out about their legal troubles in this way but that, “we wish Ms. Lohan well and hope this is her final encounter with the criminal system.”
The Cato Institute is widely respected for its Libertarian and modern “market-liberalism” approach to educating about limited government and free market economic policies. You can learn more about them at www.Cato.org.
